Wow! The last day of August!
Yesterday I managed to screen out the rocks from about a third of my one new bed. Then I took the kids to play with some friends. Quite a few beers later we came back home, ate dinner, and I was in bed by 9! I don't normally drink, but had fun.
Managed to get just about the rest of the bed done this morning- then it started to rain. Worked in the rain for a while until the soil got too wet to work with. I was almost done too :( Maybe in a few I'll go back out and screen compost to put in the new bed.
I have come to the conclusion that Round-Up does have a shelf-life. NOTHING that I sprayed 2 days ago has even begun to show signs of dying. I don't really care so much about the grass, but I also sprayed a bunch of poison ivy that I really want dead and gone LOL!
Well, I need to make sure the kiddos are actually cleaning up their rooms, do laundry, and take a nap

Give the Roundup a few days. I sprayed an area this year and it took a week to do anything. I think it takes awile to get to the roots. |

I think the Roundup needs to have the sun on it too, I think that's what I read somewhere on the jug---if it's been rainy there that may not have been enough sun on the plants. You may have to re-treat |

I read its either salt or vinegar that kills poison ivy..cant remember which |
