Or should I be titling this "Today in Granny's Garden" LOL!
We drove up to PA on Monday, and this is the first chance I've had to get on the computer. We've been pretty busy relaxing :) Spent Tuesday swimming in the creek, eating "campfire" hotdogs and S'mores. Wedsnesday the great grandparents came to visit, and yesterday we went to Hershey Park.
On Weds. before the greats came I was weeding my MIL's one bed. Didn't notice until after I pulled a few out that there was poison ivy in there too. Luckily I was able to wash my hands quickly enough that I didn't get any. We also went to the one farmer's market. Boy do I wish we could get these prices in VA!!! A BUSHEL of bell peppers- $3.50! a dozen ears of corn-$3.00! the list goes on...I'm going to try to get back down there to buy some tomatoes today.
I could keep on going on about all we've done, but I do want to get some more fun in! Like gathering some wildflower seeds (a whole field of milkweed, cardinal flower on the other side of the creek, and loads more!)
Until later, have fun gardening :)
