Steve comes home tonight !!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!
We got rain last evening, YES! That was followed by the creepiest lightening I have ever seen! I was sitting outside with the dogs after it got dark and the entire southern sky would light up for about a second before going dark again. It did that about 3 times, then the fourth time the light was a greenish color and our power blinked. That's when I decided to come back in LOL! I have never seen lightening "light" for such a long time before...and the last time I saw the greenish color was during Hurricane Bonnie in '98...
I have better get my backside in gear today- I have a lot to get done to be ready to leave for PA on Monday. I have to get it all done today because we'll be autocrossing tomorrow so won't have much chance to get it done. I'm actually NOT wanting to drive up to visit the in-laws this year. Not really sure why, we always have so much fun... I think it's becaue I have so much to get done before we leave, and so much to do to be ready for school to start when we get back. I really wish Steve didn't have to go to Italy until THIS week. Oh, well. I just have to deal I guess :)
Have a bunch of toms ripening. Gardens are all looking great, especially after the rain. Toad Lilly as 3 new blooms on it, with lots more buds, Need to check on the rain lillies- I bet they grew a bunch more after the rain!
The crocasimia has been producing seeds! I'm going to cobble together a cold frame and plant them in the next couple of weeks. Maybe next year I'll have loads more!
Well, I better get going if I'm going to get everything that needs done done!
Have fun gardening :)
