Spent the morning doing errands. We had to go to Greenbrier (lots of shopping) for one thing, so I decided to get a bunch of shopping done since I was there. It's not that far away, about 15 min drive, but far enough that I don't just go there for one thing anymore.
Picked up Megan's shot records for school. Hard to believe she's going to be starting Kindergarten!
Then I took advantage of a reasonably nice day to get some much needed yard work done, especially since the rest of the week is supposed to be hot and humid. Today was a little cooler than it has been with a temp of 93. But we had very low humidity so it actually felt nice. Got the mowing done, mowed the ditches, and watered. Completely emptied my rainbarrel so I hope we get the thunderstorms they are saying we might get tomorrow. I'm not going to hold out much hope considereing they haven't even been able to get our temperature forecast right! We've been about 5 degrees above what they forecast. Makes tomorrow really scary then when they are forecasting upper 90's...
I think I'll be able to harvest a bunch of tomatoes tomorrow. I also have a bunch of bells and jalepenos that I can pick too. I'm tasting some home-made salsa Yum! I already bought, and hid, tortilla chips LOL!
Well, I think I'm going to get a shower and hop in bed
Have fun gardening :)
