I didn't realize I had been so long with updating my blog!

First, no butterfly from the cocoon yet, so still waiting. Watched another caterpillar munching on my parsley and it turned itself into a cocoon now too! I think I will leave that one outside... Also found a couple of different looking caterpillars munching on my wild cherry trees- boy are they weird looking! Sorry the pic is so out of focus- it's from my phone:

Then there was this guy sitting on a Tithonia bloom:

It has been so stinking hot and humid here the past week. I darned near gave myself heat stroke the other day weedwacking. I was motivated to do it late morning- bad idea. I did finish up cutting all the crabgrass from the edges of my gardens last evening. Still got overheated doing it too. I still need to re-edge, but that probably won't happen until fall LOL!  At least now you can actually see the flowers, instead of crabgrass stalks LOL!
