Great bargains! One of my local nurseries had it's annual "Elephant Sale" over the weekend. I was able to buy about $40 worth of plants for under $10!!!!! Let's see, I bought: A Blue Toad Lilly ($17, sale for $4), Red yarrow ($10, sale for $2.50) 6 Garlic bulbs for $1 (normally $5) and 15 rain lillies for $1 (normally $5)

I'll plant the garlic this fall,  plant the toad lilly and yarrow when we get a cooler spell, and I'll get the rain lilly bulbs in the ground now. They had so much stuff on sale, it was hard to keep myself to just those few things! But since we'll be going to PA sometime in August I didn't want to have a lot of new stuff in the ground that would need to be babied.

Last evening my sister called. We were on the phone for about 3 hours, until almost midnight! I ran my cellphone battery almost dead, spent the last 45 minutes with it plugged in LOL! We don't talk that often, but when we do.... She's going to try to come visit this weekend- maybe we'll go to Busch Gardens :)

I had a hard time getting to sleep last night- despite being exhausted. While I was talking to Tory, I was watching lightening in the distance. Well, when I went to bed, began to hear thunder. Of course I was unable to get to sleep then. Pretty loud storm with torrential rains. By the time I finally got to sleep, Megan calls me- nightmares. Get her re-settled and another hour before I was able to get back to sleep. Needless to say, I am really tired.

Steve had 1 day to recuperate from his 26 hours of traveling. Had to go to work this morning. I don't know how he's able to do it, it would take me a week to recuperate! I really hope he'll be able to be a dad again and help me out with my little demon-spawn soon! They have me at my wit's end.

Kids!!!!!!! I have been asking, telling, yelling, threatening, and with-holding being able to play with their friends for the past week until they get the playroom cleaned up. Instead they make it even more messy. Logan has gotten this really bad attitude towards myself and Megan- he thinks it is perfectly acceptable to yell and talkback to us, hit her, say horribly mean things, etc. I am at the end of my rope with him! They are in there right now cleaning up. I told them if it wasn't done today that I would go in and clean it up. They know that means that I put everything that isn't put away into garbage bags, that then go into the garbage can. I just don'tknowhow to get them to actually listen to me without my having to get incredably angry. I don't remember being like that when I was little, my parents had to yell once and I did what I was supposed to- these 2 just look at me, act like they'll do it, then go back to what they were doing.

Enough complaining about my kids- not worth getting myself even more upset, and boring all of you!

Better get going and start doing some house-cleaning myself LOL!
