Or should I title this "Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning"? LOL! I would most certainly rather be out in the garden!
I watered everything last night with the "Non-odor" fish fertilizer. When you put it on just a few plants it doesn't smell at all. When you water all of your beds it is pretty rank haha. I think I really upset the neighbors, and scared off the icer cream man LOL! Everything really seems to have enjoyed it though.
I'm really getting frustrated with my peppers and tomatoes. They have lots of blooms- but just won't set fruit! I have no idea why. They are all HUGE. Maybe I need to add more potash or potassium... The ornamental beans are blooming like crazy, but the blossoms fall off before growing a bean. They are supposed to be edible, and I want to collect for next year. Oh well....
The parsley is setting seeds like crazy. I'm going to have loads to trade. Organically grown parsley seeds anyone? The plants are 4 ft tall!
My Four O'Clocks are blooming like crazy too. I really like them. I'll definitely be collecting those seeds!
Well, gotta go collect the seeds from the skullcap, and then get back to cleaning.

I am cleaning today too. Funny, its hard to clean and be on gg at the same time. |

I was reading about tomatoes, " if there are blossoms, but no fruit, the plant is not getting enough sun" place it in the sunniest spot available! The more sun tomoatoes and peppers get, the more they will produce. I hope I could help. |

Fairygarden- so true! Bing- I wish that was the problem, but they get sun from 9am until sunset. |

You've been having a heat wave (!) where you are. Tomatoes have a hard time setting fruit in the heat (that's why mine are over with-except for the"heat wave" that I planted.) Also-you want to keep 4 o'clock seeds? My experience has been that they will come up for YEARS where you don't want them after having one bush!! (lol) If you have the space, they are pretty-and smell good, too! |

ALAS AURORA, THE GARDEN IS DOING ITS OWN THING.......LOL...IF YOU COULD SEE WHAT MY EVER PRODUCING TOMATO PLANTS LOOK LIKE YOU WILL LAUGH REALLY HARD. I WILL GET A PHOTO OF THEM.. THEY HAVE PRODUCED ALOT OF TOMTOES THIS YR BUT RIGHT NOW EVEN THO THEY ARE PRODUCING THEY LOOK ILL..LOL... OUR BROCCOLI HAD A HEAD THAT SOON BECAME SEED AND OUR BELL PEPPERS NEVER GET TO FULL GROWTH BEFORE THEY FALL OFF. I NEED HELP...ANY IDEA WHY? THEY ARE IN FULL SUN...HOPE YOU FIND YOUR ANSWER AND THE NEXT CROP DOES MUCH BETTER. :-) GOOD LUCK CANDY |
