It's tooo dang hot to do anything! It's 11:15 here, and already 92 degrees! With a heat index of 98.
I woke up early this morning. I topdressed the veggies with the mushroom compost, then watered them well. I also tried planting the potatoes that were sprouting in my pantry, figured it could be a fun experiment :) Planted the 2 clematis I bought a couple of weeks ago. I got tired of having to water them 3 times a day LOL! Then I relocated the elephant ear that was in the sunnier spot of the fern garden into the flowerpot fountain. I potted with mushroom compost before setting the pot on a slightly submerged rock- let's hope it likes it there even though it will get afternoon sun. If it doesn't I could always move it where the other ones are :)
I think that was everything that was on my garden list of things to do, other than rooting another brugmansia cutting.
Have a great day- and stay cool!
