We pulled out the pool for the summer. It's the kind of round pool you can get at Wal-Mart.  We were going to wait until after we got back from vacation- but it's just too dang hot! It's currently being filled by the garden hose- but it's going to be a LONG wait with 1500 gals to put in! But at least I'll be able to hop in when I get all yucky from just walking around the gardens :) And I won't have to drive the 20 mins to my parents apartment just to cool down

I repotted my houseplants this morning. I washed all of the old potting soil off of their roots, then repotted them with a 50-50 mix of potting soil and mushroom compost. They seem to be a whole lot happier now :) I also potted the brug cutting, it's sitting in the dining room window with my bromeliad until tonight, then I'll put it on the porch.
