I know that it takes several days for plants to germinate, and stuff, but I am getting so nervous because nothing has grown yet, but it's only been two days, and I am just waiting for something to grow!!! I planted some poppies, and calendula today, I hope that turns out well. I think my dog has something against my garden. =(

It's like the saying,"a watched pot never boils", which is also a lie. It just seems like that. Plant em and forget em for a while. You will see. You have a great day and happy gardening. Debstr	Feb 21, 2008 \| 4:41 PM PST Oh man, I was so livid last week when my newest puppy went into my room of plants and dug up this WHOLE long planter of new seedlings....destroyed em all! It was so hard to discipline him - he figured they were there for his enjoyment! Needless to say, he is closely monitored when he gets in the plant room! Debbie in IL

If you still have room in your garden, perhpas planting some seeds that have quick germination would be beneficial. Sorry I cant think of one at the moment. If you like Zinnias, they are very easy to grow and come in a variety of colors and can be used as cut flowers. Keep us posted.
