So far the blueberries are doing good this year. I love their little bubble blooms. They look like little pantaloons hanging in clusters. The color of the spring foliage is a beautiful seafoam green. The fat bumblebees are really loving all of the blooms. The first of the pollinated blooms are dropping their petals.

soaphouse	Mar 24, 2008 \| 4:43 PM PST Great picts! I have had a blueberry for a few years, but it has never really done much due to a bad location. Last fall, I moved it and I am excited to see what it will do for me this season!

AngelsGarden	Mar 24, 2008 \| 5:39 PM PST If you know what variety you have, there are some sites that give the recommended varieties for pollinating yours. Usually there are a few to choose from that will do the trick.

yardgranny6	Mar 25, 2008 \| 7:45 AM PST I love blueberries and when I found this little bush type that is self pollinating I bought three. I is called Sunshine Blueberry. http://www.parkseed.com All have beautiful pink blossoms now. I will have to protect the little berries from my birds however. I am so anxious to get started on my edible property boundary, blueberry is my absolute top choice, and dwarf is essential on my tiny property. Those Sunshines look like just the right way to go. YEEEE Haw!
