I live in an apartment in Massachusetts and want to plant lavender and some flowers in a pot on my balcony. This is new to me but I am eager to learn and open to suggestions.

My lavender is still growing which is exciting. I spoke to my sister who told me that I might not see the actual lavender part until September. I hope she is right! Right now they are getting taller but that is just the stem part of it. I do water it...
Lavender Buds
I am seeing more buds in my 2 lavender pots so I am seeing something but it's only been a month so no actual lavenders yet. I read that it should take about another 3 to 4 weeks to really see the lavender itself. I just have to be patient!
