I started my Parsnips off by sowing a few on damp piece of tissue paper placed in a clear container,then placed the container in the airing cupboard,after they have sprouted i take the container down the greenhouse fill some plastic cups with compost,then get a plant label wet the end and pick out the shotted seeds, cover with a thin layer of compost,place a clear material over them and in a week they are growing away.
