Here you go! 3/4 lb. jalapenos 6 c. sugar 2 c. vinegar 6-oz. liquid pectin 1 tsp. margarine 10 drops green food coloring 10-12 (4-oz) jars or 5-6 of the 8-oz jars. Seed peppers. Place in blender with 1 c. vinegar. Blend til smooth. Combine sugar, 1 c. vinegar and pepper mixture in large pot. Bring to rolling boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in pectin and 1 tsp. margarine. Return to boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add food coloring. Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes. |

Barb, Scotch bonnet peppers are waaaaaaay hotter than Jalapenos, so could I have your recipe too? I live for hot spicy food. Please and thank you. LH, Thanks for the recipe. Sounds good. _____________ Zana |
