HeHeHe...use the image all you want. I'm flattered!! The river stones are held in place with mortar. Actually it was surprisingly easy to walk on, wouldn't want to run on it with heels trying to beat a rainstorm .Found out more about this pathway and garden today. Its a Japanese Garden, very three dimensional in design...almost looks like a picture from a distance. I'll take some pictures soon that show more of the foliage. This garden is on the Carleton College campus in Northfield, MN. |

Hee, hee, thanks for the idea, DeAnna. I wonder how practical it is though. I think I would be stubbing my toes and stumbling all over it. Was it difficult to walk on, OB? It is gorgeous, though! All it needs is the castle at the end.

Oh, that's beautiful! Are the stones in the path set in cement? What an enchanting little area. Looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale. Thanks for sharing. I hope you don't mind, I set it as my wallpaper for a change of pace! |

There are some great raspberries at two of the small, wonderful college campuses in my town. Beautiful evening, few bugs...and fewer students to pillage the many raspberry patches available . Been near this pathway probably 100 times over last 3 years but discovered it tonight while filling up my bucket.

Lita some of the students pitch in with its maintenance...think the work study jobs in groundskeeping department get filled very fast, really pretty campus lots of unusual trees for our climate zone. Not unusual persay but textbook examples I suppose. Herbyann never sent an image via e-mail, but I'll try to figure it out. In the mean time I'll try to snap a few more pictures in next few days. If I have a prob attaching images I'll send you a PM and we'll try to work it out together. Please excuse my computer incompetence, its getting better though!!!
