Harvesting Zucchini (?)

Nice looking plants! Don't let them get too big. A pair of pruners or a knife works well. Sever the stem about an inch above the fruit.

Very nice plants...very good looking
They taste best at 6 to 8 inches long stir fry yumm
Use some shirs..sizzors a nife,... twist its all good just dont damage the vine it hanging from

My Zucs are coming along pretty nicely, even though they are cramped in the east end of my extension garden.



They grew so fast and larger than I thought they would get.



Looking down through the leaves show the new squash starting to pop out.



This one is getting close to harvest.....I think (note: this pic is a few days old), and I'm not sure when to do it and how to...pull, cut, twist?



A lot more have come out since these pics and I'm getting pretty excited. Any advice on harvesting will be appreciated.
