Are banana peppers and Cubanelles the same thing? I keep seeing Cubanelles at the grocery store but not sure whether they're hot or sweet. |

Very nice lookin' assortment you have there Dan. I grow some varieties myself including Sweet banana, Hungarian hot wax, Big Chillis, Super Chillis, Cherry Bombs, and Jalapenos. Whatever I don't sell at market I bring home and roast them on the grill with a little olive oil and fresh garlic and also use them with the romas to make salsa. YUM YUM!!! |

They are a sweet and mild pepper that are a light green-yellow color and as they mature they change to a orange-red color. They have a nice taste but I prefer the bananas myself. |
