Sunflower seeds.

A starlings bill works in reverse order from other birds.

It doesn't have the muscle power to crack open the seeds.

While most other preferred birds love black oilers and prefer them, Cardinals, chickadees, finches, nuthatch, titmouse, grosbeek, etc.

Try upside down suet feeders to slow down starlings.

Otherwise make a suet sandwich out of twp pieces of rough wood, some bolts and hanging wire.

Make sure the peckers and such can get at suet, but starlings can't cling to the wood like peckers and hatches can
