Jenn, I also finally got a couple of eggplant fruit! Sure takes it's time, doesn't it. Mine are mostly Japanese Nasu with a few Chinese Ping-Tung Long. I have 19 plants in the main garden, 15 in the extension and....... 70+ in 3" peat pots...for the greenhouse, I'm afraid. We really like them, plan on pickling some and otherwise eat lots and give to the neighbors who are waiting! i was about to give up hope on growing any eggplants and i finally see one growing. it isn't that big yet. but boy was i happy to finally see it grow. how long do i wait to pick it?? |
