I found this lovely crochet pattern for a readers wrap a few days ago and have just started making it using Autumn colors. The pattern can be found in Think Pink crochet put out by Annie's Attic.

I'll have to try to find that pattern. I don't know if I can crochet well enough to do something like that, but I sure would like to try.
Keep us updated on your progress.

Witt, I don't think you will have any trouble with the pattern, its a single crochet with chain stitch crochet shell pattern throughout.

Yes you do get chilled. That would be a beautiful, warm and comforting gift. They gave me a fleece blanket to cover up with when I had chemo and told me I could keep it. Your wrap is very special...she will love it !! Just as a thought Seasons...how about a matching hat . You never realize how hair keeps your head warm, till you have none.(besides looking pretty dumb) But then again...I had chemo during the worst winter my town had seen in 40yrs. !! Lucky me. Just to be extra positive....she may NOT lose her hair. Soooo to hell with the hat !!

Thank you and yes a matching hat was on my mind I have made several for her and she loves them, She lives in Chicago and I know the winters get so cold.
