I bought this on a whim in a fruit and flower shop, and have become enamored of it. The plant has flowered prolifically, and the leaves are attractive as well. I can't figure out the type, though, and Googling descriptions of the flowers has yet to produce results. Can anyone here help?

Thanks,
Mordechai

Your pix look very much like Sinningia speciosa common name "Gloxinia"

Thank you very much - now I will know how to take care of it, and keep those blooms and leaves coming! Much appreciated.
