Wow, this season I was given over 20 seeds to try & make them grow. Most of them were foreign to me, because they were given to me by friends & family. Then there were the additional seeds I saved from my flowers from last year. I eliminated over half by size, hardiness, then were ones that were biennials...etc. Long story storter (lol), some seeds weren't coming up, so after a few weeks at a time, and I wouldn't have any luck, I'd just use the same dirt in the same cell & plant another type of seed. Well, as you can imagine I ended up with some great flowers that I recognized, some I just can't figure out for anything. I have searched by images on google with names of some of the seeds I remember planting, but I planted so many. And Google wasn't much help, I got more images of seed packages then starts or seedling pics.

I attached a couple different images, & I am praying you can help?! If not, I am just going have to let them grow & see what happens. It's getting late in the season, so they need to be planted asap anyway. I just don't want to be planting weeds if possible.

Thanks to anyone that can give me any tips, answers or advice. And yes, I will not try this again next year! I went way over my head this season & won't make the same mistake again.

p.s. I tried labeling, but I wasn't having luck with hardly any of them that I just tried more & kept relabeling til I gave up. I swear it's like when you don't try is when things start working?... but that doesn't make me want to give up.

Thanks again!

~Dest~

BTW: I added a pic so there are 3 unknown starts all together now, BUT 2 are the of the same start, just different views. Sorry, but I forgot about the one, but I couldn't find the picture of it til right as I was going through my pics to add my photo attachments for this post. Sorry!

I'm with Carolyn on 3 and 4. Got to be a vine crop: cukes, squash, or gourds.

I hope the one with the five leaves in photo 2 is not marijuana. Hah!!

Wow, that picture is dead on! Yeah, I am sure that's what it was... Yes, unfortunately it didn't get too much bigger than that. I planted it, and one of those lovely squirrels that love my garden so very much decided to dig it up for a hiding place for his or her peanut! So thanks so much for the help, I think that's great that you have an almost identical pic of the exact same height & stage of growth! You're are good! Thanks again!

Lol, I didn't even think of that, but I can see the similarities! Could you imagine my neighbors?!! I think after if had gotten a little larger I would have realized what it was, but I'm pretty sure it was a lupine? But a squirrel got to it before it could get to see it grow into an actual thriving plant. Ya gotta love those squirrels! It's crazy, I didn't mind squirrels until I started my flower of garden. The guy across the street feeds them!!! He also has birds, such as a parrot & a few other birds. So he has a ton of seeds, nuts, dried fruits... you name it, he's got it to give to the squirrels, since that's what his birds eat anyway. So after they hit his house for food, they love digging up my plants, flowers...etc. Long story short, I have asked a ton of questions on the forum about pests, bugs, all the creatures that love destroying our hard work for thriving, beautiful, green, & healthy growing plants. (FYI: Sorry for the long reply, it's just been a long battle this season w/ the lack of water here in Ohio, high heat...etc. When I wasn't fighting the bugs & squirrels, I was watering my plants that go all around my property sometimes up to twice a day, just depending on how much sun they got, .... ok, you get the idea, I'm starting to spout off again! Lol, sorry! Thanks for )
