Im going to take up the onions tonight and wonder how to store them should I hang them to dry? Im thinking braid them all together like garlic or should I cut the stems. should I wash them before storing or not?

Thanks Tom

On that link there isn't suppose to be a space on the last word "onions" but I tried to edit it and it still shows a space and not suppose to be. So I guess you will have to type out the whole thing...reba

I leave the leaves on mine until they are totally dried, then I cut them off leaving about 2 inches on the bulb. Mine stay in the garage out of light until this happens, then I store in the house because of humidity. And no, don't wash!
