Clarkia concinna.."Pink Ribbons".A wildflower native to California. Soooo unusual !!

I had a feeling if anyone would know it would be you, purplepassion ![]() But, did you know that it's name comes from Lewis and he named it after Clark, of the Lewis and Clark Expedition?? It looked familiar to me and sure enough I have it on a tote bag...with the flowers Lewis recorded during the great expedition. These two men are Rick's favorite adventurers...beautiful flower...very lucky gardener...take good care of it ![]() Wishing you very well (^_~) |

WOW it certainly does look like that apart from being more purple. But if it is a native of California what on earth is it doing in the middle of England! |
