If you do, be sure to give it lots of water and care the first year. And since it is already fruiting, unless you are going to remove the fruit, I'd just leave it alone until the fall. mjbi Joined: 3/24/2012 Location: Florida Posts: 13	Posted: Apr/10/2012 3:08 PM PST I have a mulberry tree about the same size and has been fruiting - darned birds - but the berries seem to be small and dry this year. We purchased/planted it last year with wonderful berries already on from the nursery. It could be that the birds are getting them before they mature, but a couple have gotten red...just not big!
