Meet Speckels and Chilli. They are really sweethearts and a couple of egg laying machines. I brought them home a week ago and they have both layed an egg a day. Treats for Them! Then there is the 3 Musketeers, Butch the Rooster, and Ethel, shes the redhead and Mosie the brunette. They're a little put out right now with the arrival of the new girls. Butch is being a butt head and Ethel and Mosie have their beaks twisted a little. They'll get over it. I just want them to all get along and they are doing better every day. Oh, I remember when I was a wee kid, my grandmother had them in the back yard. That was in Los Angeles in the '50s, but that's gone now. Nice to see them all the same. They lovely and look healthy. Wishing you well (^_^) |
