KNICK KNACK PATTI WHACK 2002-2011 Knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone, Knick Knack Patti Whack, where have you gone? On an angel's heels, walking your path at sunset, touching your nose to his skin, letting him lead you there, the way you walked with me? Knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone Knick Knack Patti Whack, where have you gone? Away from the pain, a better place in mind, to bark at the rain and after clouds pass by, chase them from behind? Knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone, Knick Knack Patti Whack, where have you gone? Without a care to run about, under the trees of heaven? I am sure, without a doubt, chasing angel squirrels.. Knick knack paddy whack give a dog a bone, Knick Knack Patti Whack, where have you gone? I’ll tell you where.. Where all the good dogs go, to rest in peace, my friend, deep within a human's heart, a happy memory... Rest in peace my special friend, Knick Knack Patti Whack give a dog a bone.. Jan 1, 2011 I wrote this poem in memory of a special little dog who followed so close on my heels, I could feel her nose touch the back of my leg. Who liked to chase the Fedex man..from behind... AFTER he started walking back to his truck. Who was very much afraid of thunder and spent many a day chasing the squirrels under the canopy of pecan trees. I will carry happy memories of her with me, always, deep within my heart.. Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I know how hard it is to loose one of your little furry family members. It is true, that they will live on in your heart and memories. Our prayers will be with you that you feel comfort in your time of great loss. |

Thanks so much. I think what made it even more difficult for me is that I had to make the decision to have her put to sleep. My daughter accidentally ran over her. Patti's leg was broken severely. She had a birth defect and other health issues that attributed to our making this decision. After talking with the veterinarian in detail about her situation, we all thought it best to have her put to sleep. Her health was already declining before the accident and I knew it was just a matter of time before we would have to make this hard decision. I never anticipated it being this difficult, however. I can't seem to stop crying!
