My husband is making a pot of beef stew on this cold Wisconsin day. He asked "Would you possibly have any fresh parsley?". I said "Let me go out to the garden and check under the snow." Sure enough, there it was, not even wilted...greener than green. Talk about tough herbs! And my ornamental kale is so pretty in the snow. I will definately grow that again come 2011 Spring.

That is wonderful...I wouldn't think a herb would be that strong. I think the ornamental Kale is made for cold weather...sure adds color to the season. (-_^)
