What fun it was this morning at 7:00am. I got my flowerbeds planted and some perennials moved from one that I am going to let grass take over. Gardeners who have dogs who want and think they are helping probably know where I am going with this. While planting our black lab Emily wanted to "help", running with packets of flowers and the trays that they fit in when you buy them. I usually have a couple peanut butter jars in the cabinet that still have a little in. Well I gave one to Emily and it kept her out of trouble and I got my flowers all planted. If anyone else has the same problem give this a try. She gets them as a treat anyway. The only thing you have to do is make sure they don't eat the plastic. In a way after a few minutes it is funny, can anyone else identify?

When mom and her friend tried to plant 6 packs of tomatoes a couple came up missing. The neighbor's yellow lab was carting them off. The peanut butter trick is marvelous!
