Rashell, that is really cool, what do you have, as far as blooms, that the hummer is waiting to get it's nectar from?..............John

thank you john

I have a new planter out front and a lot of hummer food. like salvia, tritoma, daylily, bulbine and a few others. I bought salvia for the hummers but I didn't know they like the other flowers. got lucky!

What kind of lens are you using on your camera. Or better yet what kind of camera? If you don't mind me asking.

Ladynla I don't mind you asked. Infact we have been discussing cameras, editors and camera features at http://my.gardenguides.com/forums/topic/84711?page _no=19 . I wrote down my camera info. there but unfortunatly I can't tell you exactly what I did for pics unless you ask me about one pic. at a time.

Reason for this is I've been testing different features of my camera and I can't remember everything I've tried. BUT, i can post detailed information of one pic. at a time. The terrible part about all this is you'll have to pick a image before I can tell you what i did and what lense i used.

We are talking about the same exact things at the other thread check it out we have a lot of fun there.

Thank you very much for you comments.

hubby took these shots, thought some of you might wanna see them. I think the nest belongs to the hummingbird 'cause the bird is always near it.
