I left the beds alone for months, ever since our Ice Storm earlier this year and finally got around to getting plants put in to a long winters nap. There is just a little bit more I need to do to be finished. The layout of plants were designed to mimick a tier affect or your basic, height set up, short to the tallest. I went with blue veronica, shasta crazy daisy, bee balm, and to anchor the sides in the rear are solidago fireworks. I threw some cleome in there for good measure.. I kept it a groundcover of creeping phlox to the point of the design to all the way back on the side of the house. I also have a colorado blue spruce and a hydrangea in the mix. I forgot what these yellow shrubs are in the front of the house, but here it is, I'm almost done. Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That looks tremendous, Cougar. I love all of it, especially those hanging lanterns along where the yellow shrubs are. If you're done, come on up to NY and do mine!
