Ok ~ last day for 2009. October 20th. Feeders are down, cleaned and put away until April. Ack ~ hate this part! Funny thing is, last year's date was 10/21. Weird, since this summer and last summer were COMPLETELY different

My feeders are still out, but I haven't spotted one since Oct 9. I guess that's going to be my official date.

I just cleaned and filled my feeder for the final time. I will take it down on November 1st. I have not seen a hummer since October 16th.

I'm really looking forward to greatly expanding my hummer garden next spring. I love snow, but I sure wish the cold season could be shrunk down to a couple months instead of several.

I think I'm going to go ahead and bring mine in for the season.

It'll be a long wait till hummingbird season hits again.

I haven't seen but 2 in several days-I'm sure they're natives-HOWEVER, these guys took over the feeder!

YIKES! That's about the way they have been looking on my flowers. They must be stoking up for the winter!
