Help! My hubby and I have an entrance that is about 1/4 mile away from the house. We have started planting at the entrance and are wondering about a drip irrigation hose system kit. My hubby is working on installing a faucet to connect it to. My question is this: What type of irrigation kit do we use? Micro Mister or just the kind that Drip? We have 10 Red Rockets(crepe mertle bush), 12 Mexican Heathers, and 12 Silvery Proof(ornimental grass) .... We live in Texas, in Zone 8b I believe. Any help would be sooooo appreciated! -Adrienne |

Personally, I would go with the drip system. Crepe Myrtles get mildew so easily, I would stay away from something that is going to keep the leaves wet, and you'll be getter water where it needs to be-at the roots. |

Hello, I hope I understood the post correctly, hubby did burry pipe. Is that a good thing? Also, the water source is not coming from the house 1/4 of a mile away. He established a line next to entrance. I hope this is a good thing..... |
