Hi all, I am brand new to garden guides and figured I would post with the rest with a brief introduction of myself. This last summer I went to New Mexico to work on an organic farm through the WWOOF program. (World wide opportunities on organic farms, I will write a blog about that soon). This sparked a immense interest in organic farming and I have also always been interested in Native Edible plants. So now I am going to the local community college for my degree in ornamental horticulture. I am also planning on transfering to a university close by that has a fantastic Sustainable Agriculture program! I plan on being a very active member of this community and hope to learn from all of you and I will also teach all that I learn as well. See you all around Garden Guides!
