The juvie male that arrived several days ago is still visiting my feeder in the morning. I don't know where he goes the rest of the day. Flowers here are dead due to multiple freezes and the neighbor's feeder was taken down a couple weeks ago. If I was him I'd just hang out in my yard all day. |

I'm glad that you're still having a visitor. I'm afraid that I sighted my last one on Oct. 9. |

My last hummer left on October 16th. I'll keep my feeder up until at least Halloween, but I don't expect to see any additional hummers. I can't wait until May for their return... seven long months away. |

I still have a few. We're warming up again for a few days so maybe .... Last year's last day was 10/21 so it's getting close. Yeah, it's a long haul waiting for them to come back ~ usually around mid-April for us. |

Even though we have native hummers that are here year round, we don't see them much in the winter (I wonder where they go?). We had a little cold snap come through, and I haven't seen any for 2 days (doesn't mean they aren't there during the day). I had about 6 hitting the juice pretty heavy for several days before the cold came through-I had to fill the feeders every 2 days-2 feeders for 6 birds! I'm thinking ours are about done. |

while my son was visiting on Sunday he saw a hummer. Most likely the last of the families though. It is warming up here again and we have not had frost yet, so there could be a few still around. |
