I think this is a corkscrew willow also.I got one of these i planted about 2 months ago, its doing great. Yesterday i did notice black with yellow belly worms eating the new growth leaves, have cleaned 1 new branch thats about 2' long. I got them all off and done away with, but if they come back, should i use some kind of chemical to make them stay away? They could ruin a tree quick.

Actually, with cool weather coming on, they'll be gone shortly. I personally would just blast it with a hose whenever seeing worms to knock the little stinkers off.

I'll remember that. So far, they have not came back.

Have you tried liquid Seven Dust? This is what we use for all our buggies...

I have to watch where i use chemicals, as i have 3 Great Danes that run around my yard at different times
