This is the shortest of the 5 DW'S we have planted on the fair grounds. The foliage is good, but why is it turning red? The 2 healthy, no problem trees are very green and beautiful. Will include a pic of no problem tree. Is there a known food for these trees? Attachments: ![]() ![]() |

I wouldn't worry about it. These trees are pretty pest free. It could be that that tree is changing to it's fall colors before the rest. It happens to mine all the time. |

Thanks Ryan, i needed a good report on something. These trees are new to me, and since i have got in the Master Gardener Class, and plan on doing my volunteer work at the fair grounds. The people senior to me want to cut them down. I have always liked fixing broken things, so i am adopting these trees to try to help. From what i have researched about them, they are worth the effort. More later, i tend to ramble. Attachments: ![]() |

These trees are well worth it. If you Wikipedia them, you will learn a great amount of great info. on them. Superbly fast growers with cones and great fall colors. |
