hi all
have had one in a large pot in a corner of my patio for 3 yrs now...had always done well, but this year one branch had died off and the rest is kind of scraggly. should i prune? or should it wait until spring? i'd like it to be fuller. next question...how do i prune it? lol
thanks!

Wow. I don't know what to tell you. Here it is so invasive I kill more of it each year than I care to imagine. It just grows wild and goes everywhere. I pull it out, I mow it off and if it gets to bad I spray it. It does look pretty of a fence and when it turns red in fall it is especially pretty but when it takes over everything in sight it gets really frustrating.

You can prune it back anytime and to maintain a certain size, you can continue to prune during the season.
