I think the colors & skinny font need fixed. I like to over all idea, but given this is gardening site, it should look more alive, not brown & twiggy. And I agree, I come here for the content, not the logo

I really don't care one way or the other, but I must agree that the new logo does look rather brown and twiggy. Gardens should be lush and green.

I don't mind either and hadn't read this thread til now, but I can see why some are more in tune to the old one. It's fine for the forum itself, but if it went to a more marketable thing such as ball caps or shirts I think it would be more unisex done with the original or a little different font. Something classic yet with a fun plant or garden implement in it.
More feedback, please?

Hi Members,

I wanted to thank you for all the feedback you have provided us. We really appreciate your thoughts and support.

With that being said, we are excited to announce that the new and improved Gardenguides.com will launch by the end of this week!! We have taken the overall feedback from the community and used it to improve the site functionality and appearance, while keeping the same Gardenguides.com feel.

With the new launch you will see many new features, such as the ability to search for photos, exciting new content, videos and much more. I am so thrilled that we are able to give our community what you have asked for.

As always, I will be here for any questions, thoughts or concerns you may have.

Thank you, again!!

Best,
Kate

That sounds great. After having seen the new home page it looks like it will offer a lot of new and usable information and be easy to use. If it is also faster that would be great too. Thank you Kate for all your hard work on this.

I'm all for changes but I am not a fan of the way the page is set up. The community is at the bottom of the page. Oh boy, change is good but the layout to me is not good. Oh boy.

cougar - I am not sure what was happening with your layout last night, but it should appear normal now.

Please let me know if it is still messed up.

Thanks,
Kate
