You might try dusting it with Sevin dust-the caterpillars could be from moths or butterfiles-though I can't think of any that prefer ferns right off. Quote \| Reply \| Report

I sprayed my southern maiden hair with it this spring when something was eating it, and it killed it all the way back to the ground. It eventually came out again, but not as big as it was last year.
