stevia and lemonverabena question

pok soo i pulled afew plants inside fer the winter --im in zone 5 milwaukee area they arent getting daily watering they have matricle grow time relese pellets fertaliser with some worm poo mixed in with the soil there in a north facing window with the blinds closed but like 6 near straight feet of windows side-by-side

thery look to be failing im wondering what i can do to help them? theyve been in like this fer atleast a week i had to cut roots to get them out of the window box that they were im i tryied to leave room an get the biggest part to help them more --the kids i tryied starting kept frailing so i decided to take the parent there in bout 4" pots

I don't know anything about stevia.

Perhaps it's just shock from being dug up and moved. The lemon verbena may take awhile to adjust to it's new surroundings. Maybe if you cut it back some so that it won't have so much to support that it may be able to revive.

how far back would you cut it? ive images from jus a few min ago

hopefully they can be seen well enough--ive decided to parch them a lil as you can see theres still semi wet looking soil

I would cut the lemon verbena back until it's about 4 inches tall.
Next time when your lemon verbena is thriving in the summer, make stem cuttings. They will root and then you could have a lot to bring in for the winter.

i had cuttings i pulled them up put them in the pot braught them inside an they failed soo i braught the plant itself even had some fresh cuttings in pots with the rooted still failed

Now that I think about it, lemon verbena is deciduous. It will lose its leaves in the fall and go dormant. I had forgotten that! I don't know what it does if you bring it into the house, but probably does the same thing.

stevia should live with cuttings ok but isnt i jus hope there ok inside this winter--millaegers WILL have more of both next year but if i can grow my own ill be insane-o-happpy an the stevia looks to be getting woody soo it may be like the lemon verabena i think there both native to a simalar climate (im eager to get afew multi yeart olf plants so the ficus has buddies)
