hi I have a problem.On the my side of my house is a steep slop which I have been ignore it for some time.I don't know much about landscaping or what to do on this slop ,but if someone has an idea of the kind of plants I need on this steep slop.Please write back.the slop faces north and I live in zone 6.The ground here is very rocky and with dirt.Thank you |

hey imjojori, can you post a pic of your predicament? sometimes a picture can help with what is best for the area and im sure someone else will come along and have your answers. im afraid at this point i have more questions than answers. |

Welcome to GG, Imjojori. You might try some evergreen ornamental grass. Several years ago I planted 200 plugs of Liriope in a sloped bed and it's thriving! I bought the plugs on Ebay for a screaming deal; they have filled in nicely. Previous to the Liriope, I had planted Thymus pseudolanuginosus-Woolley Thyme which did quite well also-I was just ready for a change.~Andrea |
