I planted some Black-eyed peas and some sort of wasp has been all over the pods. They don't fly off very quickly when I aproach, I can actually flick them off the pods. They don't sting, they just look like a wasp. I noticed some pods have tiny black dots on them. There were one or 2 that I missed when picking, and when I did pick them and opened the pod, the peas inside have dark spots on them. Sort of like rotten spots. I put them aside on the counter and a worm crawled out of one!!! EEWWWWW. Does anyone know what this pest is and how to get rid of it? Thanks. |
