Kate, I would very much love to be considered for this. I tried to submit an application but the files I attempted to upload were not accepted. I work a lot with MicroSoft Excel and apparently this is not an acceptable format (sorry, I detest Word ~ so NOT user-friendly). Although I have no PAID writing experience, I do write a weekly newsletter for the sales office where I work. People who read my writing say "gosh, you should write" and I really love to do it. When I write in my blog here on GG I get all kinds of comments for "more, more". My writing veers towards the humorous side, I'm afraid  .That being said, I am also a Master Gardener and could bend ears for centuries about everything gardening. I have gardened in two zones due to a major (for me) move so I have experience with life changes too. I am also a Forum Host (similar to the "Moderator" position here on GG) on another website (www.recipezaar.com ~ a Scripps company) and have been doing that for around three years, so I have experience with people-pleasing and fairness. The application I attempted to submit here was in my real name ~ Kelly Canfield, but I do not think it cleared the system. Any help or suggestions you have would be appreciated. Thanks! |
