I was just wondering if anyone was going to be traveling this Holiday Season coming up, etc...Thanksgiving, Christmas. New Years? Anyone traveling for Labor Day weekend? |

We aren't traveling on a Holiday,but we are going on a motor-home trip down to North Carolina(outer Banks) soon.There is suppose to be a beautiful campground in Hatteras,right on the ocean.If anyone has been there will you let me know how it is? Thanks,I'll take lots of pics.I'm not sure I can get them on here,but maybe someone can help,WITT or Bill,You there?

No major travel but we will be returning to Amana and Kalona Iowa for our annual anniversary trip. We are hoping to get to got to Christmas in Kalona this year and actually get to see the parade. It has been weathered out for the last two years now. We just keep trying.

I hope you get to go too MamaBear. We are planning on going to Dunnellon Florida to see my mother-in-law over X-mas vacation. Things always seem to come up and we have not been able to. I have to get all my traveling in for a bit because I will be a granny and I must stay at home. Geez im still so excited...its silly. I cant help it. Oh I cant wait to teach the little bugger some gardening stuff.

I would loooove to go back to Puerta Vallerta for X-mas, but I don't know what I'll be doing. I know my son won't be able to come home for X-Mas, And it's too early to know his work schedule-so I just don't know! I know if he's not here, I won't like it-so I need to go somewhere!! |

Congrats again Cougar! We have no holiday travel plans, but we do leave Friday, September 11th for 10 days. We are hiking into the Grand Canyon, staying at Phantom Ranch, then hiking out and staying at El Tovar. After that we'll fly to see a daughter at college in Chicago, visit relatives there and return to Seattle....I am a bit concerned about the extreme temps or thunderstorms happening at the GC....pray! In November we'll visit another child in college over in Idaho-so thankful the third is at a local university. Next year we'll have four in school-all around the US. We will return to Chicago in April for a trade show. BTW-our wonderful NW Flower & Garden Show is in February, you might consider traveling to Seattle.~Andrea |
