my friend was in her front garden the other day, where she has lots of butterfly bushes and other 'tasty things'...a hummer came up and fluttered in her face a full thirty seconds, took off, then a second and third time! (she said, unless he was sending his friends to check her out-lol) all she could figure was that he (they?) were attracted to the bright fuschia tshirt she was wearing...of all the times to be without a camera! |

This happens to me ALL the time! My favorite porch chair is about 4' from a feeder. They will visit the feeder and then fly up to my face to check me out. They are probably used to seeing me as I spend A LOT of time in that chair . Yes, your friend's shirt would be attractive to them. But I like to think that they confuse my lips for a flower until they get close enough
