Also we went to the fair last weekend . and i could not believe the things that were at the fair this year!!! There was a watermelon there that weighed over 12 lbs, when I saw thaI I just about fell over!!! There were gourds there, and I guess this was experimental, because they have never been raised here!!! They were some nice gourds too!!! Tammy67 Joined: 7/12/2009 Location: Anchorage,AK Posts: 257	Posted: Sep/06/2009 1:01 PM PST Went to the fair yesterday and saw the record cabbage, what is hude on it is the leaves as big as my arn, and the width of the cabbage is as wide as I am tall, and I am five foot four inches!!! As for the head it is about the size of a bowling ball!!! Quite impressive!!! P.S.- I got a fair shirt that says, "Dirty habds are happy hands", and has flowers on it, it's really cool!!!
