You know I thought I would take a coffee break here. I have been outside cleaning and pruning in the dwarf evergreens and yews. At first I thought, oh I can't go in there and visit with these old dirty yard clothes on. They were clean this morning, until the blue rug sap stuck to my knees, then some grass stuck to that, my glasses are full of water specks from hosing the evergreens off, and this old comfortable grey shirt has paint on it. My boots have a couple of cracks in them, but they are sooo comfortable to wear. Then I said to myself, who cares, it's just a coffee break. So here I sit resting my weary bones at the all day achey saloon, oh no, I meant Herbie's Habitat. Hope you all get a break today too. Come back soon. JJ |

I'm here too. Just dropped by for a second. Was out pulling weeds, planting and thinning out old tired zinnias. I have already had my shower, hope you dont mind that I am in my jammies.

We are like back door neighbors here---come as you are ! It's like family ! Me and Herbie get so tickled when someone visits ! Good Morning All ! Hope you have a wonderful day today ! Herbie is up and about and catching flies ! I'm having my coffee and went out to fill the birdfeeder and put some food out for my kitties ! My garden is overwhelming right now, and I can't really walk around in it because it's jammed packed full of plants, and blossoms are rampant---let's just say it is wild right now ! You are more than welcome to stop by here in the mornings in your pj's while I have my coffee, and Herbie's eating his breakfast of flies. I thought we could discuss our morning routines as a topic today. Later.......mitzi

Well, I am a sleeper. I dont get up early if I dont have to. Once I am up and going, I like to do whatever tasks I have to do. I do like to spend time online while eating breakfast and when I take breaks--that is what I am doing now, taking a break. I must clean my house today and I am making a pot of spaghetti for supper tonight. |

Good afternoon. The morning passed so swiftly, again! I did have some coffee too while looking at the computer earlier. My husband does his ROM exercises for about an hour and half every morning, so that is when I am on the computer reading the news and GG. I feed the birds before sitting down, then I can watch them eat while I am on the computer. I like to see which old birds return, what kinds of birds. The one dove has a limp or rather no left foot. He is faithful to show up. The red and yellow finches flit around the doves, very colorful. The black cat usually crosses the yard several times (hoping to get a bird I think) every morning. Yesterday and today it came out of the woods with a mouse. Not my cat, but he is claiming us, our gardens and the yard. He drinks at the water dish. I wish him well in his mousing endeavors. Well I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I want to join the party at Mitzs place. I'm sorry I waited so long, I knew it would be a GREAT hang out. And Herbie is such a gentleman, his girlfriend hit the jackpot. |

Munkinsmom---You're doing it right---just show up whenever you get a chance and chat about anything---I think, I'll have a topic each day---that will help us know each other better, and it should be a fun activity ! Good Night All !-----Thought I'd have a big pot of coffee made in the morning for everyone and Herbie volunteered to make his favorite---fly pancakes for breakfast ! I think, I'll just stick with the coffee ! Topic for tomorrow morning is what do you usually eat for breakfast ? See you in the morning ! Later......mitzi

Good Morning All ! The coffee is made, the cups are laid out, and Herbie was up bright and early this morning making those fly pancakes, but I think he's gobbling them up as fast as he can make them. Well, I have some fresh doughtuts hidden away in the cabinet just for us. Excuse me this morning, but I'm a real sleepy head for some reason. The coffee should kick in, however, pretty soon ! It's cool outside this morning like fall weather---came so quick this year ! Today's topic was....what do you usually have for breakfast ? Well, I usually have a couple of pieces of whole wheat toast with my coffee. Excuse me, I just nodded off there for a minute ! Stop by for awhile before you start your day !
