I am glad to see this post. We have Tractor supply and feed stores as well. Will start checking around for prices.

I never think of Tractor Supply, and I have to pass it to go to Wal-Mart (but I really don't go to Wal-Mart too often). Petey spends as much time in Tractor Supply as I do at Lowe's (lol). I forget about all the other stuff they have besides 'farming' tools, etc. Socks-I said something about needing socks one day, and Pete was going to Tractor Supply. He brought me back some socks (yes, he did!), and those are the softest, most comfortable socks I've ever put on my feet! I need some more-maybe I should mention it? (Not much about bird seed, here, huh?)

No, not much about seeds, but a great testamony for tractor supply stores! I love to go into places like that. They have things that you just don't think about and probably wouldn't find anyplace else.

Went to Tractor Supply this morning, and BO seed was $14.99 for 50 lbs! 50 lbs. of reg bird seed was MM? 12.99 maybe? I buy the songbird mix-smaller bags, more money, but that's what I do! Thanks for the tip! I would have never compared seed prices before reading this-and it was a much shorter trip!
