Hey people... I have 2 questions. Over here in malaysia, the lotuses dont go dormant because of the climate and I need to move a +-6 feet lotus from my moms friends house back to mine without bringing the pot along or breaking it(the pot). How do you suggest I do it without harming the plant much? The other question is if it would be ok if I planted it in a round washing basin(2feet 4in wide and around a foot deep).

I don't know about the replanting but I would transport it in a large bucket of the water it is in now. We have 5 gallon plastic buckets here that would work great but I am not sure what you have available to you.

You guys are lucky to get a lotus seed. Around here you can't find them. I would love to try one.
